Note: The “Teaching Strategies for Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments and Learning Disabilities” course was successfully conducted and participated by 123 Special Education Teachers and officers from SEAMEO Member Countries. This course aimed to equip the knowledge on teaching strategies for students with visual impairments and learning disabilities; introduce methods and approaches in providing specific needs of students with visual impairment and learning disabilities without lacking out in teaching and learning; contribute to a deeper understanding on how collaborative effort can produce appropriate teaching methods; and provide a platform for discussion and sharing of ideas on teaching strategies from the perspective of Southeast Asia countries.
